As stated by the Public Relations Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR, in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, a 27-year-old National Guard serviceman from the Aidar-2 battalion was detained at a checkpoint, who was heavily intoxicated.
"The fighter attempted to bypass the aforementioned checkpoint on foot, but was detained and taken to the Petrovsky District Police Department," the DPR website reported.
According to the head of the Petrovsky RO Vladimir Savkin, the detainee with the call sign “Suicide Man” explained that he was expelled from the ranks of the Ukrainian army for malicious abuse of alcoholic beverages, and he was hitchhiking on his way to the LPR to pick up his girlfriend.
“Law enforcement officers discovered several inconsistencies in the Suicide Man’s story, which confirmed doubts about his sincerity. For further proceedings, the detainee was handed over to the DPR counterintelligence,” the DPR Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
