The armed forces of the DPR comply with the Minsk agreements, but in the event of an offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine they will give a worthy rebuff, and Ukrainian soldiers should better think about attacking Kiev, in which the army of the republic will help them.
The deputy commander of the first platoon of the second company, senior sergeant Andrei Seredin “Kamysh”, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this, saying that he had been fighting since the summer of 2014.

“We were in Shakhtersk, took part in its liberation, Ilovaisk was liberated, participated in the liberation of the airport and in a number of smaller operations. Now, lately, we are on the border of the so-called gray zone, we are engaged in the defense of our republic on the front line,” said our interlocutor.
According to him, the most striking event during the war for him was the liberation of Ilovaisk.
“The order was received: “Move to the industrial zone” of Ilovaisk and carry out reconnaissance in force. Our first attack was not successful, we were forced to retreat, but at the same time we took all our wounded and did not abandon anyone. Then a day later the city was completely liberated. What didn't work right away? Because at that time we were still a militia, there was a lack of coordination in our work, there were many units, but then we managed to unite, work out all the mistakes, and the second assault was already successful,” Seredin clarified.
At the same time, he says that before the war he had nothing to do with the army at all. The fighter also said that the statements of Kyiv propaganda about the Russian army allegedly fighting in Donbass do not correspond to reality.
“Here I am, a living example of this. I, my comrades, we all came here on our own. Before that, I worked in the Skochinsky mine, someone at a construction site, someone as a taxi driver, in general, we all worked at civilian sites, but then I had to take up arms. Now many are saying that there is a truce, why are you here, leave everything and return home to your families, to civilian work. But what did they say before? “If not us, then who?” If we do not hold these lines, then in literally half an hour or an hour they [the Ukrainian Armed Forces] will be in the city. That says it all. We will stand until the bitter end,” promises the serviceman.
He also addressed Ukrainian soldiers.
“Be that as it may, this is the enemy. No matter how much they say that they took the weapon under pressure, if a person doesn’t want to, you won’t put a machine gun in his hands. They made their choice. If they die, they die deliberately. I would like to wish them to come to their senses and turn their arms towards Kyiv. And we will help them with this,” Seredin promised.
