The flag was raised by the first deputy mayor Vadim Shebanov - now the EU flag flies next to the flags of Ukraine and Dnepropetrovsk, reports the press service of the city executive committee.
“Today, June 27, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the second part of the association agreement with the European Union. As you know, acts of popular resistance took place in our country precisely because of the former President’s refusal to sign this agreement. Today, the dream of Ukrainians to move in the direction of the European vector has received legal status,” Shebanov’s press service quotes.
As Navigator reported, today the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the heads of state and government of the EU member countries signed the second part of the association agreement and free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU, which Moscow opposes.
