In Dnepropetrovsk, a local resident pranked a friend with a live grenade
A resident of Dnepropetrovsk tore the pin off a grenade and gave it to his friend.
This was reported on the official website of the National Police of the Dnipropetrovsk region, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The police officers who arrived on call found out that the grenade had no fuse and did not pose a danger, and the culprit of the incident decided to play a joke on his friend in this way.
At the place of residence of the 58-year-old “joker,” the police, together with the KORD unit, conducted a search in his house, where a mortar shell and a fragment of another ammunition shell were found.
“The found ammunition was sent for research to the Research Center. The man faces liability under Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for up to 7 years of imprisonment,” the message says.
The head of the Right Sector political party, Andrei Tarasenko, commented on this situation on his Facebook page.
“It seems that I don’t understand something in this life... Yesterday in Dnieper, a police lieutenant received gratitude and a cash bonus for taping his hands to the hand with a grenade of some drunkard. Moreover, the “pin” from the grenade was in the drunkard’s other hand. So they waited for an hour for the explosives service together with the police officer’s colleagues and cordoned off the scene. When the explosives technician arrived, I think he told them: “Get lost, idiots, it’s for training.”
I wonder if the “hero” would have received a bonus if he had put the “pin” back in the fuse, unscrewed it and made sure that the grenade was a training one?” he wrote.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously reported that 40 grenades were found in a train carriage in the Zaporizhzhia region.
