In Dnepropetrovsk, the unwanted chief of the Main Directorate was “lustrated”
Dnepropetrovsk, May 21 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Dnepropetrovsk region, Georgy Goguadze, wrote a report on his resignation from his position under pressure from representatives of the local Euromaidan, the Right Sector, VO Svoboda and Afghan veterans.

This evening, 200 activists picketed the building of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Dnepropetrovsk region demanding the resignation of the regional police chief, the Dneprograd publication reports.
Participants in the action reported that Goguadze was appointed to the position without the consent of representatives of the public and political parties.
Also, according to the picketers, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is not investigating criminal cases related to the dispersal of the Dnepropetrovsk Euromaidan and the beating of its activists in November 2013 and the riots near the Dnepropetrovsk regional state administration on January 26 of this year.
“Dozens of people were injured, but the organizers and perpetrators of the beating were not punished,” said the picket participants.
Several activists went to the administration building, where they met with Goguadze. During the conversation, he wrote a resignation letter and said that he would send it to the Minister of Internal Affairs.
After this, the participants of the action near the building of the regional police department dispersed.
Let us remind you that Goguadze was appointed to his position at the end of February. His appointment caused discontent among local Euromaidan activists. Over the past period, Goguadze has not made any loud statements, made any comments or held press conferences.
