Brussels said that Poroshenko has done more than all his predecessors
President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker praised Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko today at a conference following the Ukraine-EU summit, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am more than pleased with the progress that Ukraine has made over the past four years. Thanks to the leadership of the Ukrainian president, we have more progress and changes than in the previous twenty years. This means that the Ukrainian population is truly a great nation, the leader of which, this great country, did what he promised,” Juncker said.
True, he could specifically name only one sign of progress - the notorious visa-free regime.
“We are very pleased that more than half a million Ukrainians have already taken advantage of this opportunity,” Juncker said.
