“Azov” urged not to wait for victory and everyone to prepare to fight
The authorities must tell Ukrainians the truth: they should not expect a quick victory over Russia.
This was stated by Valeria Subbotina, a servicewoman of the neo-Nazi Azov Regiment, which is banned in Russia, in an interview with the anti-Russian propaganda website Ukrayinska Pravda, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

She says that in her surroundings she does not hear the phrases “I’m tired of the war”, “They will fight for me”, “Is victory coming soon?”
“But I’m on social networks, I’m on the street, I’m on the subway, so, of course, unfortunately, I hear these phrases,” Subbotina complains.
She says that now many media and government information policies do not want to scare people.
“But I apologize wildly: in the sense of “we don’t want to scare”? People were not afraid of the bombing of Kyiv, the occupation of the Kiev region, or what was happening throughout Ukraine. They must see it all, realize it. And, in my opinion, people need to stop treating people with such completely unrealistic caution. You shouldn't treat them like children. We need to finally start telling them the truth: there will be no quick victory!
The war has already been going on for two years. There is no end in sight for it either. What kind of imminent victory are we talking about? Another point: what is victory? We don’t have a clear definition of “victory” at the state level; everyone sees it in their own way,” notes the neo-Nazi.
According to her, victory will not even be reaching the 1991 borders, but a situation when Russia recognizes Ukraine as a strong rival.
She blames the information policy, which hides the truth from the population, and praises the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, who “says frank things” [on the pages of a British magazine, he announced a positional deadlock, admitted failure and his mistakes in planning the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces].
“To say that Mr. Zaluzhny “said too much” is the same as condemning soldiers at the front for something. Now they are the center, the center that we must listen to. Negotiating for weapons, agreeing on some political decisions, sanctions - our government does all this very well, but our military personnel are fighting.
Now is not the time for quarrels, but the truth is timely. The truth is time to cool the heads of our people a little, to remind them that the war is going on and it will continue. To remind us that we all must and can become warriors,” summed up Subbotina.
Azov urged everyone not to wait for victory and to prepare for war.
