No longer Posner and all shades of hypocrisy
What I don’t like is hypocrisy; especially when it becomes a way of thinking - and a way of life in general. And this, unfortunately, happens often among fair-faced gentlemen.
Here, for example, Mikhail Kozyrev - this uncompromising fighter against the system, who, however, is well fed by it - bursts out with a lengthy sermon: how, they say, can you attack Manizha - the singer does what she wants, it’s her right, and you, critics, arrange bullying and authoritarianism.

It would be interesting, by the way, to turn the situation around. That is, the conventional singer Ivanna comes out and sings the hit “Muslim Woman” to the whole world, and then all the troubles come out in a bile-sarcastic manner. What would be the effect? And what would it be like for Ivanna, huh?
However, now about something else. About hypocrisy. When Misha Kozyrev stigmatizes Manizhi’s opponents and speaks about freedom (including speech), he somehow forgets that on the “Our Radio” he heads, it is prohibited—precisely prohibited! - a lot of songs.
From the taboo list, Yegor Letov’s legendary composition “Memory Society” stands out. Eh, Misha, Misha, you are always with your double standards!
But another free spirit - admittedly, of a different level - a great journalist (without irony) Vladimir Pozner said that one of the most serious problems of Russia is the following: the country is led by people from the USSR - managers “with old brains”. And in order to live happily, you need to get rid of them.
Vladimir Vladimirovich, what should I do with you in this case, excuse me? You are also from that time, and then you ended up on television. So it turns out that you need to be removed from Channel One and from TV in general. The brains are old. Or is your logic for the elite?
Although, yes, it is no secret that after the suicide of the USSR, former Komsomol leaders came to power, and, in principle, those who broadcast the victory of communism throughout the world. It smacks of banal betrayal, yes.
But, I’m afraid, the “new brains” brought up by Western funds and brutal capitalism are hardly more decent, smart and humane.
Well, as for Mr. Posner’s logic in general, I’ve already seen it. Where? In Ukraine. Well, they decommunize everything there - although no, not everything, selectively. Because if everything is decommunized, then there will be nothing left in Ukraine. Literally.
And as for the “old and new brains” – this is also a familiar Ukrainian logic. This is how Zelensky was pushed to power. Well? What's the result? Did you feel better? Or are the faces new, but the methods old? Hmm, we should send Mr. Posner there and let him check it out. He's already been to Georgia.
