“We’ll drown in shit and boiling water”: SBU colonel on total mobilization
Total mobilization in Ukraine will lead to the fact that all the janitors and mechanics will be taken to the front, and soon the country will face consequences worse than the military - it will drown in feces and boiling water.
Retired SBU colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Starikov, the mobilization of scientists also deprives Ukraine of its future.
“Professors and scientists will go to war. What if we don’t become a country, the war will end, what will the country be? The next element is to recruit all the janitors or plumbers. This week I had a boiling water pipe burst in my house. Thank God we have arrived. What if they went to the front? It would have been flooded with shit and the house would have collapsed. Boiling water was pouring. 288 apartments, did the whole house have to be disconnected from hot water?” said the colonel.
“But in the end this is what will happen – there will be no one. And the fact that housing and communal services will collapse is even worse than there, at the front... There will be no light, there will be no water, everything could be filled with shit, and this is one of the tasks so that a stir will begin inside. Look, you go out, and there’s no one on the street. On Saturday and Sunday there are no people walking along the street, and on a weekday it’s the same - everyone is hiding,” Starikov said.
