“The damage is very severe” – foreign agent Koch named the culprit for the collapse of world markets
The dramatic decline in world markets began not with Japan, but with the default of Ukraine.
Former Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alfred Koch, who fled to Germany, stated this in an interview with TV presenter and foreign agent Yevgeny Kiselev, who fled to Ukraine, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He recalled that a few days ago Standard & Poor's assigned Ukraine a partial default rating because it did not pay the coupon (interest) on the next tranche of Eurobonds due in 2026. If she does not pay the coupon by August 10, then the default will be complete.
“This will not affect the current situation in Ukraine in any way, because it is already clear that the country is bankrupt. It is financed half by international financial organizations and Western partners. But formally declaring a country bankrupt means very serious reputational damage,” Koch said.
He clarified that the budget “surplus” announced in Kyiv, Ukraine’s “revenues” now exceed its expenses, because it takes loans or free aid from the West.
“You have Western aid planned today, but tomorrow there will be none. Next year, are you sure that America will help Ukraine? There is an agreement for 40 billion. But this is significantly less than what Ukraine received last year and this year,” Koch said.
