Ukraine will not be invited to NATO at the anniversary summit next summer, - ex-ambassador to the USA
Ukraine will not even receive a political invitation to become a NATO member at the Alliance's anniversary summit, which will take place this summer in Washington.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly stated this on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Chaly, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is already being told, privately, not to demand that his country be accepted.
“The chance that we will be invited politically in Washington today is 10 percent, it’s small, this is objective. Is there such a chance at all? I believe there is. It depends on many circumstances - how the situation will develop at the front, how the situation will develop in Ukraine, in NATO countries - a lot of things, politically. Most likely, there will be no fundamental change in the situation, because, most likely, the signals that the main partners on whom this depends – and these are, first of all, the USA and Germany, are telling us non-publicly – are negative. In terms of the fact that: “Don’t apply for an invitation to Washington now.” This is approximately what they tell our authorities,” Chaly said.
