In the conditions of a “hybrid war”, any Russian content is a “weapon” turned against Ukraine.
ATO volunteer, active participant in the Maidan, lead singer of the TaRuta group Evgeniy Romanenko said this on Magnolia-TV, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I will say this with a quote from Oleg Skrypka: the war is now continuing exactly where Ukrainian-language products have not been allowed for decades. And we have state quasi-formations precisely where there was simply no Ukrainian-language product, including music... Music, culture are the same weapons, they are an element of hybrid war,” Romanenko said.
“I am for banning Russian content during the war. Crimea will return - okay, Russian actors will come to us, no problem. But now culture is politics. If culture were aloof from politics, then they would not have entered the Eurovision under national flags,” added the Maidan activist.
Previously, as PolitNavigator reported, the aforementioned musician Oleg Skripka proposed creating a ghetto for Russian speakers.
In addition, he called the residents of Donbass “bugs” and “cockroaches” and called on them to take up arms to “reclaim Crimea.”
