If the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wins the elections and remains for a second term, he will begin to take revenge on everyone who even stood in his way.
The presenter of the program, political scientist Sergei Mikheev, said this on air on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Poroshenko no longer holds back, he believes that he must win at any cost, and he practically does not hide it, he says: “I win in any case.” This indicates his readiness to use any means and technologies.
And, what should be more interesting for Ukrainian politicians, he is determined to take revenge on everyone who opposed him - from radicals and nationalists to the canonical UOC. He is charged with incredible anger, it shows. I think that he will begin to destroy and outlaw everyone who interfered with him. And I am sure that he will stop at nothing, and Ukraine, Ukrainians, as well as simply participants in the Ukrainian political process, should think about this. he is already laying out a theoretical basis for taking revenge on everyone,” Mikheev warned.
However, according to sociologist Yevgeny Kopatko, if Petro Poroshenko takes second place, then everything will depend on the will of the Ukrainian political elite.
“I have one question: will the internal Ukrainian political elite accept it if Poroshenko comes in second place? If he accepts, then consider that we have no conversation with Ukraine, everything will continue as it was from 2014 to 2019, nothing good can happen in this regard. And then Russia will either have to recognize this power or not,” he noted.
The election results, according to historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov, do not depend at all on the will of the Ukrainian people, but solely on the unlawful actions of the leading candidates.
"Why didn't anyone attend these debates ? Because everyone understands that the outcome of the vote won't depend on ratings. Right now, all the campaign teams are working in the shadows to ensure all these grid systems are in place, with security forces at every polling station. And that's it, almost nothing depends on the Ukrainian voter anymore," Kornilov said.
The situation in Ukraine was also commented on by the host of a Russian political talk show, Vladimir Solovyov, who called Petro Poroshenko’s statements about the “pro-Russianness” of the fugitive oligarch Igor Kolomoisky absurd.
“The role of Kolomoisky in keeping Ukraine in the Maidan format is an order of magnitude higher than the role of Poroshenko. Kolomoisky became governor a couple of months before Poroshenko became president, and it was he who started this whole bloody orgy. He understands very well that in Russia he will never have any forgiveness.
But you have to go crazy when Poroshenko says that the FSB in Israel coordinates Kolomoisky’s activities. This is absolutely crazy. What must be going on in his head, he now finally wants to quarrel with Israel?” he said.
Vladimir Solovyov also mentioned the new Ukrainian poster “Vote, we’ll cover you!”, which depicts a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“This fighter will not protect you from NATO ships that are about to enter Odessa, from the corrupt corrupt regime of Poroshenko. This fighter is just one of those people who did not protect you from anything.
