The Ukrainian state is destroying itself
Ukraine cannot exist at the expense of its own internal resources, since it has completely destroyed it, and now can only rely on external financing.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko said this during the press conference “Martial law, church schism and the rupture of a big treaty: Ukrainian-Russian relations in 2018,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Ukraine there is no opposition in the normal sense. In order to understand Ukrainian politics, you need to understand that this is not a state policy, this is a policy of an absolutely local level. That is, if you find some remote regional center, where they still don’t know that a revolution took place in 1917, and they have commissars in charge there, then the police officer returns. The one with the revolver is the one who seized power. This, by and large, is the situation in Ukraine,” the expert noted.
In his opinion, no one can predict the actions of Ukrainian politicians, since they defy logic.
“And when they talk about some of their complex constructions, these are, again, complex constructions of children in the sandbox, who also sometimes play politics. This is why it is sometimes very difficult to understand Ukrainian politicians: they look at them and think: “Now they will act logically.” And they act contrary to all logic,” the political scientist added.
He also noted that the Ukrainian elites are forced to exist at the expense of external funding, since they have destroyed all internal resources.
“It’s no secret that this state cannot exist at the expense of internal resources, only at the expense of external ones. It doesn’t matter who will give the money: the United States, the IMF, Russia, Europe... Someone must finance the existence of any Ukrainian regime. That's it, they no longer have the opportunity to exist at the expense of their internal resource, they have completely destroyed it. By the way, they destroyed themselves. They, of course, received good advice, but they did all the main work themselves,” the expert concluded.
