Deputies supported a rule according to which soldiers would be prohibited from using mobile phones without removable batteries. The military will have to give such batteries to the squad commander in order to avoid information leakage and the possibility of enemy fire.

The use of cell phones will be prohibited during combat duty, on marches, etc., as well as during combat, unless other types of communication are available.

During parking, special areas for telephone use will be designated.

The squad commander will be forced to accept a battery load of 300-400 grams, but this will not limit his combat capabilities, assured the author of the law, Irina Friz.

According to the deputy, the law is based on recommendations provided by foreign instructors.
