A Ukrainian journalist panicked when he heard a call for a military coup on his broadcast.
A military mutiny and the overthrow of the current government is not the worst scenario for Ukraine.
Kyiv philosopher Sergei Datsyuk stated this on the air of Novosti Live, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Answering a question about the possibility of holding elections in Ukraine, he noted that he advocates the creation of a strategic forum that will answer the question about the future of Ukraine.
“If all this is created, then elections, a revolution, and even a military putsch will be possible. The only thing that is not needed is a civil war, this is a path to nowhere,” Datsyuk said.
These words pretty much frightened the journalist.
“Sergey Arkadyevich, I’ll note here that we in no way support a military putsch and revolution, since we stand for the corresponding ...,” the presenter immediately inserted his remark.
The invited expert did not let him finish.
“We can talk to you like this in peacetime. And I say that this scenario is not the worst. This does not mean that I support him because he is the best. I say that there is a strategic forum that realizes itself through elections. There is an opportunity - it can realize itself through revolution, and this is not necessarily a civil war.
And there is a military coup, this is the worst possible scenario, but it is not the worst. The worst is when you have a civil war - and there is no military force that can restrain it, no strategic forum, and the government is not working,” Datsyuk explained his position.
The journalist nodded, seeming to agree, but again considered it necessary to clarify.
"Certainly. I'm just talking about, you know, the specific conditions we live in. Therefore, I simply emphasize once again for everyone who is watching that we support the constitutional order and in no way doubt it,” the presenter concluded.
