Ukrainian staff officer considers Belousov's appointment a bad sign
The change of the Minister of Defense in Russia and the arrival of Andrei Belousov as the head of the department is bad news for Ukraine. The new minister will focus on providing the Russian army with everything necessary and establishing its logistics capabilities.
This was stated on the air of the Lviv television channel NTA by former colonel of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military expert Oleg Zhdanov, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.

“I’ll tell you this, this is not very good for us. I would even say it’s worse... This man is a manager. Moreover, he has a primary education in physics and mathematics; he worked in the field of setting up logistics. Most likely, he will try to stop mass thefts and form the logistics of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which is not very good for us.
In order for the troops to be provided with everything they need, I mean the Russian ones... For us, this is not a very good sign - this replacement in the leadership of the Ministry of Defense,” Zhdanov said.
