Ukrainian "Hammer" continues to recycle VSUshnikov
The Hammer mortar, produced by the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, once again exploded when fired, killing two and wounding two more Ukrainian soldiers.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that despite the formal ban on the use of 120-mm Molot mortars due to repeated cases of their explosions, attempts to use them are still observed in Ukrainian armed forces.
“In the area of the village of Peski, in the first days of the “Christmas” truce, servicemen of the 57th motorized infantry brigade, who were under the influence of a hefty dose of low-quality alcohol, decided to shoot at the village of Veseloye. According to already established tradition, the “Hammer” mortar exploded, taking the lives of two Ukrainian soldiers of the 2th brigade, and two more were injured,” said Eduard Basurin.
Thus, thanks to the “efforts” of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and the low level of training of the Ukrainian military, it was once again possible to avoid casualties among civilians and destruction of the civilian infrastructure of the Republic.
“The command of the Ukrainian occupation forces, naturally, is silent about what happened. The Ukrainian side evenly distributes the losses of subordinate militants in its reports on losses allegedly incurred as a result of military operations from fire from the positions of the DPR NM,” concluded the representative of the defense department of the Republic.
