Ukrainian energy engineer: Even without new Russian strikes, recovery will take two years
It will take Ukraine at least two and a half years to restore its power grid after the Russian strikes, but that is only if there are no further attacks.
This was stated by the director of the Center for Energy Research, Alexander Kharchenko, on the air of the internet channel "Obozrevatel", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

According to Kharchenko, also, if there are no new strikes, then electricity supply schedules can be drawn up in a few weeks. In this case, there will be no emergency shutdowns, but planned ones will remain, for 4-6 hours a day.
“If we say that there will be no new destruction, then the situation will develop approximately as follows - within two to three weeks we will reach a situation where there are practically no or no emergency shutdowns at all. And absolutely according to the schedule, there are shutdowns for 4-6 hours a day, and the rest of the time there is an electrician, shutdowns occur, but they are not critical, as they were after November 25th.
Then, in about 2-3 months, we will be able to lose all blackouts, and power engineers will be able to provide everyone with constant power in a familiar, fairly comfortable manner.
But to bring the system to the same situation as before October 10th will take two to two and a half years,” Kharchenko said.
