A Ukrainian official discovered that DPR TV channels were broadcasting freely in a city controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass.
In Avdeevka, Donetsk region, controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, TV channels from the territory of the DPR are freely broadcast.

Serhiy Kostinsky, a member of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, reported this on his Facebook page .
“The main problem remains broadcasting from the occupied territories. Now its solution is being dealt with by the National Security and Defense Council and the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information Policy. Therefore, limiting the signal from Donetsk is a matter of time,” Kostinsky wrote.

Let us remind you that on December 5, 2016, a new television tower began operating on Mount Karachun in the Donetsk region. As a result of the launch of the television tower in the region, broadcasting of four local and 10 Ukrainian TV channels was resumed. As of February 22, Ukrainian broadcasting was restored in 29 settlements of Donbass controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. However, there they are forced to work in conditions of real competition with the television of the DPR and the Russian Federation, which is accessible for signal reception.
