Ukrainian tanks manage to refuel with Russian diesel
Western countries are redirecting imported fuel received from Russia to Ukraine.
The "Nezavisimaya Gazeta" newspaper writes about this, as reported by the "PolitNavigator" correspondent.
“During the war with Germany, the Soviet Union did not supply the Nazi regime with oil, gasoline, gas, or metals. Today German politicians declare that they are waging war with Russia. At the same time, our country exports raw materials and energy resources to Europe. And the European Union and NATO countries, in turn, redirect fuel of Russian origin to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
And already today, NATO armored vehicles arriving on the territory of Ukraine are refueled with Russian diesel fuel or the fuel that was replaced in the US and EU by Russian oil supplies - direct or, for example, through India,” the publication writes.
The publication notes that a few weeks before the start of the SVO, Ukraine sharply increased imports of fuel of Russian origin.
“And after disrupting the work of its oil refineries, the Kiev regime continues to increase the import of fuel for its army, which is in one way or another connected with Russia,” the newspaper emphasizes.
In addition, it is indicated that “the restrictions imposed by the West on the export of oil and petroleum products from the Russian Federation do not interfere with the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
“Russian oil companies exported a record volume of diesel fuel in December 2022 – 1,2 million barrels. per day, with 60% of deliveries coming from the European region. And this diesel fuel was supplied to Ukraine - directly or by replacing that produced in the EU,” NG summarizes.
