Ukrainian specialists, following the workers, are leaving the “agrarian superpower” en masse
If earlier people of working professions left Ukraine en masse, today they are joined by certified specialists, which speaks of the consequences of the Kyiv course on the “raw materials” economy.

Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Anatoly Kinakh stated this on the air of the parliamentary TV channel “Rada,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is directly related to the deep crisis in the rocket and space complex, aircraft industry, and shipbuilding. Mechanical engineering is in a very difficult state. This is a very serious threat, not only from the point of view of the loss of indicators of a developed country,” Kinakh said.
The former prime minister noted that world experience confirms that an economy based on raw materials can never generate the required number of modern jobs in the country.
“Analyzing the structure of existing exports, unfortunately, today, including for 2017, 65 percent of our exports are raw materials: agro-industrial complex, mining and metallurgical, semi-finished products and so on. And the fact that people are leaving in such numbers today is just a reflection of very serious, dangerous changes in the structure of the Ukrainian economy,” added Anatoly Kinakh.
The former prime minister also previously noted that the "deindustrialization" of Ukraine would lead to even greater labor migration and a reduction in the country's population by approximately half.
