Ukrainian Sprechenfuehrers began to fine Russian speakers - deputy
In Ukraine, catering establishments have begun to be fined for serving customers in Russian.
Deputy Mykola Skorik announced this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the politician, this requirement of language legislation violates the constitutional rights of citizens of Ukraine.
“There is a lot written in the media that with the entry into force of the new provisions of the law on language, different organizations, public organizations, public catering organizations have different people trying to fine our citizens for using the Russian language. This is absolutely abnormal, this is a question that I consider one of the key ones.
The issue of protecting the constitutional rights of our citizens to the free use of the Russian language and other languages of national minorities. We all communicate in Russian in everyday life, and this is not a big secret. But for some reason we are ashamed to say this and ashamed to defend the constitutional rights of our citizens,” Skorik said.
Let us recall that in April last year the Verkhovna Rada adopted a discriminatory law on the Ukrainian language, which significantly limits the rights and opportunities of Russian-speaking citizens and representatives of national minorities.
