Ukrainian missiles and drones attacked Bryansk and Taganrog
A series of loud explosions were heard in the Bryansk region at night.
Local residents claim to have heard about a dozen powerful explosions, after which a fire started, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Initially, the region's governor, Alexander Bogomaz, wrote that "ten aircraft-type UAVs were detected and destroyed" over the region's territory.
"There are no casualties. Operational and emergency services are working on the scene. Thanks to our defenders," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
However, an hour later the governor acknowledged the hit.
"As a result of a drone attack in Bryansk, a fire broke out at an industrial facility . Thanks to the coordinated and professional efforts of the Bryansk Region's Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire has now been extinguished," Bogomaz added.
The Ukrainian side claims that an oil depot in Bryansk was damaged.
In addition, Ukrainian missiles attacked Taganrog, as reported by the acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar.
"Taganrog was hit by a missile attack last night. An industrial plant was damaged, and 14 cars in a parking lot burned. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured. The extent of the damage is being determined," Slyusar reported.
The city's mayor, Svetlana Kambulova, added that the boiler room on Tsiolkovsky Street was damaged, as a result of which there is no heating in a number of houses.
But Ukrainian propaganda resources claim that in Taganrog the attack was carried out on the Beriev Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex.
"Many fire engines were sent there. There is also information about the destruction of a plant that is part of the Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation of the Russian Federation," they assure from the Ukrainian side.
