Kiev, November 03 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The commander of the Ukrainian battalion “Dnepr-1” Yuriy Bereza, who became a people’s deputy on the lists of the Yatsenyuk-Turchynov party, promised to start strict lustration, regardless of the opinion of Russia or the West, right in the session hall of the Ukrainian parliament of the new convocation. "People's Front".

“First of all, we will lustrate all those who voted for the laws on January 16, and this will be in a rather unparliamentary form,” Bereza threatened. “Therefore, I want to personally warn all those who, now, hiding behind no matter what bloc, will try to enter the Verkhovna Rada.”
At the same time, the battalion commander does not exclude the possibility that “hard lustration” can be avoided, but only if certain conditions are met.
“The requirement is as follows: 30 days at the forefront,” he voiced the ultimatum. “Prove it not in words, but in deeds at the Donetsk airport, Mariupol - we have many points where you can prove that you love this land and the people you want to represent in parliament.”
The battalion commander also made it clear that he would not look back at the international community declaring the need for opposition in the Ukrainian parliament.
“Neither the northern neighbor nor the Western countries should approve the number of political forces that should be represented in parliament,” Bereza snapped. “We cannot be a kind and forgiving nation that will forgive another murder. We must prevent them from even taking the oath. As far as I know, I looked at the law, only those who have taken the oath within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada can become a deputy.”
