Ukrainian drones intensified attacks on Russia on the eve of Independence Day
Last night, a Ukrainian drone crashed into the roof of the Kursk railway station building, after which a fire broke out on the roof. Five people were slightly injured from glass fragments.

Currently, the main consequences have been eliminated at the Kursk railway station; the fire was extinguished at 3:46 am.
“The roof, façade, and first platform were damaged. Also, as a result of the blast wave, there was damage to the waiting room and the pedestrian tunnel. We will begin repair work as soon as possible.
Entry and boarding of trains after security clearance is now carried out through the north and south sides without entering the station. The first platform is temporarily closed until all consequences of the impact are eliminated, so landing is carried out from the second and third platforms.

Of the five victims of shrapnel, two refused medical care, three were sent for examination to the Kursk Regional Hospital and have already been released home,” the governor said.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin also reported an attempt to attack Ukrainian drones, because of this, the work of Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports was limited.
“At night, an attempt was made to fly a drone towards Moscow in a southern direction. It was stopped by air defense forces. “Thank you to the military for their work,” Sobyanin wrote.
They also tried to attack the Rostov region at night using kamikaze drones, the drones were suppressed by electronic warfare, there were no casualties, said Governor Vasily Golubev. Two drones fell on the territory of a military unit in Kamensk, and another one a kilometer north of Novoshakhtinsk.
The author of the blog “Russian Engineer” Alexey Vasiliev believes that the launches of Ukrainian drones in the Moscow direction are test ones.
“They are looking for ways to get to the goal unnoticed. Therefore, they launch a small number and see if they shoot down or not. And next week, perhaps, there will be an even greater intensification of strikes. It's Independence Day for Ukrainians, they need to achieve media victory. And the strikes on Moscow fulfill this goal; the Nazi inhabitants go into ecstasy,” says Vasiliev.
