Ukrainian saboteurs kidnapped DPR soldiers
As a result of the clash between the Ukrainian DRG and soldiers of the People's Militia of the DPR, one defender of the republic was killed, one was wounded and three were missing.
This, with reference to the official representative of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin, was reported on the official website of the press service of the Department of the People's Militia of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the press service, the Ukrainian side has strengthened reconnaissance using UAVs and sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Gorlovka direction. Tonight there was a clash between the defenders of the republic and one of these groups.
“As a result of the battle, one DPR soldier was killed and one was seriously injured. He is currently in a medical facility and is receiving the necessary medical care. Three defenders were missing. The republic’s military personnel are carrying out search activities,” the statement says.
The press service noted that after examining the body of the deceased during the battle, he was found to be missing one ear; based on the nature of the wound, experts concluded that it was cut off from an already dead body with a cutting object.
The defense department did not rule out that this crime was the work of a sabotage group, which thus kept a trophy confirming the fact of the murder of a serviceman of the republic.
Subsequently, the intelligence of the DPR NM received updated information about the fate of the military personnel who disappeared during the night battle.
“According to available information, DPR soldiers were captured by militants of the Nazi Azov regiment and are currently at the command post in the village of Novoluganskoye. Moreover, Ukrainian fascists refuse to transfer prisoners to higher headquarters, interrogating them using physical violence, bullying and torture. It is important to note that the Nazi report indicates that they captured only one of our defenders,” the press service reported.
It was noted that the act of desecration of the body of a deceased serviceman, as a result of which his ear was cut off, may be a consequence of the next stage of attempts to reward militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for causing damage to the People's Militia.
“According to the instructions currently sent out, militants are rewarded for the destruction of civilian and military equipment located near the contact line, and rewards are also prescribed in a separate article for killing and wounding DPR military personnel. It is possible that the cut off ear will be evidence of murder before the leaders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” suggested the People’s Militia of the DPR.
