The official website of the financial institution reports this.
“Taking into account the impossibility of the National Bank to carry out banking regulation and supervision, currency control and state financial monitoring of the activities of banks and their separate divisions located on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the Board of the National Bank was forced on May 6, 2014 to make a decision (temporarily until the end of the occupation) to cease further activities of Ukrainian banking institutions and their separate divisions in the specified territory,” the message says.
Let us remind you that by the beginning of May, nine Ukrainian banks had already ceased their work on the peninsula. According to Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rustam Temirgaliev, these included Privatbank, Raiffeisenbank, Credit Agricole, OTP, Imexbank, and Kievan Rus.
