“Even if the Russian embassy was captured, I would still think that it served them right. And I don’t want to hear arguments from polite people about international conventions, the responsibilities of the host country and things like “you have to be above this.” We are already nowhere higher, and that’s why we have a war going on and people are dying. And we still remember the decency that was exhausted at the stage of the annexation of Crimea.
Polite diplomats are good guys, but let me explain: why should I respect international conventions if they do not guarantee the security of my country, my citizens and myself?
