“Ukrainian propaganda is powerless: Donbass must first be captured”
Residents of Donbass are not influenced by Ukrainian propaganda, according to which Lugansk and Donetsk are shelling themselves. The territory of the LDPR must first be captured, and only then the local population must be processed, depriving them of access to an alternative Russian point of view.
Ukrainian blogger and propagandist Serge Marco stated this during a conference in Dnepropetrovsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our conflict is not that people have been brainwashed by television. This was already the next stage. The first stage is bloodshed. That is, the first stage of the war is when you shed blood and create opposing sides. That's it, there are people who can be poured into their heads.
Why was Donetsk shelled, including by forces like the DPR and Russia? You dropped a 152mm shell in the middle of Donetsk, and you've got blood feuds. These blood feuds will watch TV about the Ukrainian army shelling Donetsk and then join the militia. In other words, everything there is built on bloodshed.
Information is already a consequence. And now we won’t squeeze it out with information, because blood has been shed. We will not win with information,” said the propagandist.
“Firstly, because in Russia all the media are subordinate to one person, in our country all the media are divided between oligarchs. They will never come to an agreement for an information war in their lives. Moreover, some of these oligarchs are pro-Russian.
"That is, we won't be winning informationally ( or winning – ed. ). We'll first reclaim this territory, then prevent bloodshed there, and only then will we teach them a lesson," says Serge Marco.
