Ukrainian singer and composer Tina Karol burst into tears when she learned that her song “Ukraine is you” was included in the school curriculum in Ukraine.

The artist spoke about this during a conversation with students and guests in the red building of Kyiv's Taras Shevchenko University, reports TSN.
“Now this song will be published in books for the 1st and 2nd grades in the anthology of the Ukrainian language and literature. When I first heard about this, I cried. I cried for three days. One can only dream about this,” admitted Tina Karol.
According to her, she was inspired to create this composition by her children.
“How did this song come about? This is exactly the example - to conceive something, start and finish your business. Children of the project “Voice. Children” inspired me to create something special. I didn't know what it would be. I wanted to create something so that it would remain through the years,” the singer shared.
