The Ukrainian army received an order to save ammunition
Over the coming weeks, Russian troops may achieve further successes and completely occupy Avdievka.
Kyiv political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on his video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“In Avdeevka, Russian troops continue to squeeze this pocket, the bag of fire that has been created around the city. They report the seizure of the industrial area, an industrial area between the Yasinovatskaya interchange. As far as the city itself, the territory of control is reduced, it becomes more difficult to defend, and the probability of losing Avdiivka in the coming weeks and months is really high,” Bortnyk fears.
He is convinced that the loss of Avdiivka will have “a political effect.”
In addition, the expert pointed out that the Russian Armed Forces continue to attack in a number of other directions.
“The situation, in principle, today is characterized by the interception, to some extent, of military tactical initiative on the part of Russia, which is trying to advance in different directions, looking for weak points, taking advantage of the fact that the Ukrainian army today has to save ammunition,” the political scientist noted.
He said that he spoke with one of the Ukrainian security officials, who said that an order had been received to conserve not only shells, but also ammunition.
“That is, savings on everything. And, if Western aid packages are not restored, then we will really have to go on the defensive and save on everything. Even in relation to cartridges for small arms, because a cartridge plant in Ukraine has not been built in 10 years,” Bortnik concluded.
The Ukrainian army has been ordered to conserve ammunition.
