Aksyonov: Ukraine will celebrate the day of “occupation” of Crimea for life
Ukraine will celebrate the day of “occupation” of Crimea for life.
The head of the republic, Sergei Aksyonov, announced this while speaking at a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 7th anniversary of the peninsula's reunification with Russia, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The Ukrainian authorities, you see, are making a decision and celebrating the day of “occupation.” I can say that they will always celebrate it, without even options. At the same time, I want to note that the Ukrainian people are not our enemy and the residents of Ukraine will never be our enemies. I hope that after the leadership in Ukraine changes, our countries will take the same course towards rapprochement,” Aksenov said.
Aksenov’s words were confirmed in his congratulatory speech by the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region, Vladimir Kiselev.
“Today, statements by the Ukrainian authorities about the possible return of Crimea to the jurisdiction of Kyiv sound ridiculous. This is impossible. And all attempts to convince otherwise are nothing more than political speculation and deception. Crimea is Russia. Now it’s forever,” says Kiselev.
