Ukraine does not have enough workers to restore millions of workers
After the war, Ukraine will lack several million workers. The shortfall can be compensated, among other things, by migrant workers.
Doctor of Economics Andrey Dligach stated this on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
At the same time, the expert believes that a total of three tens of millions of citizens will remain in the country and millions who have left since the beginning of hostilities will return home.
“It is estimated that we will have a population of 30 – 32 million. That is, we will lose about two million workers in the country. Taking into account the fact that we will need to develop rapidly, we will need plus four million healthy resources, which we are forced to look for somewhere.
Yes, the first thing is the return of Ukrainians, but with incentives, not demands. This is the re-emigration of Ukrainians, the return of those who left Ukraine a long time ago. And finally, this is the import of labor resources,” Dligach said.
