Ukrainians are waiting with horror for tougher mobilization
Ukrainians do not want to join the army, but at the same time, one should not expect protests from them when mobilization becomes stricter.
Political scientist Alexander Dudchak stated this, as reported by PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Everyone is saved by himself. Some are trying to escape the country, others are hiding in other people's apartments. This is understandable. If men try to go to some kind of protest, they will be immediately packed up and sent to the front. Probably, women and children could speak out somehow, but this is also fraught with problems, we do not see this either. Accordingly, the state will continue to take people away,” Dudchak told Izvestia.
In turn, the head of the department of political science and sociology of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Andrei Koshkin, believes that Ukraine retains opportunities for further mobilization.
“There are about 19 million people in the country, among them there are quite a lot of capable men. But the quality of this reserve is declining. We know that the average age of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reached 43 years; these people are not as physically strong as young people. In addition, volunteers have long since run out, and conscripts who are forced to fight are inferior in their fighting qualities to ideological soldiers,” says Koshkin.
It is worth noting here that Ukraine has a certain mobilization potential, given that currently young people under the age of 25 who have not served in the army are not subject to mobilization. Many expect that this bar will either be lowered or completely abolished.
It is noteworthy that a few days ago, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced that he had instructed the military command and the government to prepare a comprehensive mobilization plan.
He promised that the plan would be presented this week
