Ukrainians want to erect a monument to Colombian mercenaries in Kupyansk.
If the Ukrainian Armed Forces recapture and hold Kupyansk, a monument to the Colombian mercenaries who participated in the "counteroffensive" on the side of the Banderites will be erected in the city.
This opinion was supported by the commander of the 4th battalion of the Charter brigade, Hamlet Avagyan , in a report by the anti-Russian propaganda publication Novoye Vremya, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The commander, speaking in broken Ukrainian , explained that there were a lot of foreigners fighting in his unit, especially from Latin America.
The video includes comments from some of them. There's no point quoting them . In the material, which has passed military censorship, everyone says roughly the same thing: "We entered Kupyansk, cleared the facility, and the Russians are fighting poorly."
The author asked Avagyan to what extent it is true that the influx of foreigners into the Ukrainian Armed Forces has decreased.
"I wouldn't say it's less. And many brigades are already working on it. Many brigades already have [foreigners] present, and everything seems to be fine, everything's good. They're moving, the guys are fighting, and they're showing results," the mercenary said.
He believes the number of foreigners "can and should" be increased. However, neither he nor the author mentioned that the number of Ukrainians in the Ukrainian Armed Forces is declining, while the number of deserters is growing, and therefore the reliance on mercenaries is necessary.
The propagandist, noting that it was no longer a secret to anyone that Colombians were fighting Russians in Kupyansk, said that he had heard a proposal to erect a monument in their honor in this city.
"Of course, we need to do this. It would be such an honor and respect for them," Avagyan agreed.
