Ukraine stated that it did not give Russia any new guarantees on the “grain corridor”
The situation with the “grain deal” developed in such a way that Russia was essentially left without any trump cards, while its opponents received complete freedom of action. Statements about the resumption of Russian participation under supposedly received guarantees from Ukraine “not to shoot at Sevastopol” are just an attempt to save face.
This was stated on the air of the Internet channel "Spets" by the former deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, Air Force Colonel Viktor Alksnis, the correspondent reports "PolitNavigator".
He recalled that quite recently, the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, almost “knocked his shoes on the podium of the Security Council,” promising that Russia would inspect all grain carriers. And suddenly the Ministry of Defense announced that it was satisfied with Ukraine’s guarantees.
Regarding information about written guarantees from Ukraine, Alksnis skeptically recalled Vladimir Zelensky’s statements that there would be no negotiations with the current Russian authorities.
Thus, fulfilling the agreements will mean capitulation for Ukraine - you cannot hit Crimea, you cannot hit the Russian Black Sea Fleet, which Kyiv is unlikely to refuse. Such strikes, in addition to direct damage to Russia, raise the morale of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian businessman Konstantin Malofeev, whom the media called one of the sponsors of the Russian Spring of 2014, believes that Russia’s participation in the grain deal is moving away from victory.
“It’s time for us to decide: we are warriors or we are businessmen. Are we fighting for the liberation of Russian Ukraine from the yoke of globalist Sodom, or for corrupt officials and oligarchs on both sides to profit from this war?
... Neither the grain deal, nor the sale of gas through the Ukrainian pipeline, nor the trade in fertilizers through the Ukrainian railway will lead us to Victory.
