Ukraine introduced its former ambassador to the United States to the Minsk Contact Group

Ukrainian diplomat, former Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Alexander Motsik joined the work of the political subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group to resolve the situation in Donbass.

“Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Alexander Motsik joined the work of the political subgroup,” said the press secretary of the representative of Ukraine in Leonid Kuchma’s Contact Group, Dark Olifer, to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

She also noted that the diplomat is currently in Minsk, where a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group is taking place.

Let us remind you that Alexander Motsik was the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States from 2010 to April 2015. Later he was replaced in this post by Valery Chaly.

Today the Contact Group on Donbass is holding its next meeting in Minsk.
