Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, participant in the punitive operation against the LDPR as part of the neo-Nazi unit “Azov” banned in the Russian Federation, Igor Mosiychuk, stated this on the channel “Power vs Vlashchenko,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The director of the museum, the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, called and said he didn’t know what to do. The monks were kicked out. The scientists who studied the relics of saints under the Soviets died. There is no one to look after the relics, and they require special care and procedures.
The director went and knocked upstairs, they suggested that these monks leave a small church so that they could pray and look after the relics. But no, the relics will be closed, and no one understands what will happen to them next,” Mosiychuk said.
He emphasized that Ukraine will soon lose almost all monasteries.
“The fact is that there are no monks in the OCU. And every monastery that has been repressed, except for the Lavra, even if there is a museum there, is turning into ruins. Drive people out of there, and tomorrow they will be robbed,” the former deputy concluded.
