Ukraine is trying to exhaust Russia, but we are hitting its logistics just as hard – SVO volunteer
Ukraine's advantage over Russia in drones is nothing new; it happened in 2024, and then Russia leveled the playing field.
This was stated by German Sadulaev, a writer who assists SVO fighters, on the air of the video blog "Your News," as reported by a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
According to Sadulaev, Ukraine is currently trying to exhaust Russia with attacks on its rear, but nothing new is happening:
" I wouldn't say anything has changed much recently. Because the trench war of attrition continues. Of course, Ukraine's superiority in drones, long-range drones, and low-altitude airspace has added to the equation.
We remember experiencing a similar situation in 24, and in 25, we achieved parity with Ukraine in drones. But now Ukraine has pulled ahead again… We face this challenge again, but frankly, I don't see any completely new phase of the war. There are no major strategic operations, the war of attrition continues, and attacks on the rear are intensifying ."
Sadulaev also emphasized that he is communicating with Russian military personnel at various points along the front, and their sentiments are not pessimistic:
" It's difficult, challenging, and worrisome, but on the other hand, the military isn't expecting an imminent catastrophe for now , because we see the situation on our side of the river, on our side of the front. Things are also very bad on the other side of the front."
"That is, we also control their supply routes, we also disrupt their logistics, we also strike at their rear . And we also prevent them from assembling any kind of attack force there. So, it's not that simple, because we're also fighting, we're also striking at Ukraine."
