The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, currently underway, has demonstrated that Russia's isolation no longer exists. On the contrary, it has become a hub of global financial ties and a direct competitor to the World Economic Forum held in Switzerland. This is evidenced by both the broad representation and the volume of contracts signed at the forum in St. Petersburg.

The chairman of the International Neighborhood Forum, Edikas Jagelavičius, who was forced to leave Lithuania, made a corresponding statement to a PolitNavigator correspondent:

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, currently underway, has demonstrated that Russia's isolation does not exist.

" The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is of significant strategic, ideological, and practical importance for Russia today . In the context of widespread international sanctions and global market restructuring, the forum has become a platform for raising capital and a tool for building connections.

The forum included a huge delegation from Saudi Arabia, headed by the Minister of Energy, a small delegation from the United States, and representatives of the AfD party.

The expert emphasized that the West, through Ukraine's drone attack on St. Petersburg on the first day of the forum, not only wanted to disrupt the international event but also to draw Russia into direct conflict:

" They wanted to attract international attention this way, because the forum is truly very important and well-known. It's what they call the 'Russian Davos,' as it's called online."

And now this “Russian Davos” is attracting global attention, during this large-scale global forum an attack was carried out.

I think they wanted Russia to launch a counterattack on the locations from which these drones were launched. And that's the Baltics , we know that well…

If Russia had struck back, a war with NATO would certainly have begun . And so, all the attempts since the end of March have been made to provoke Russia into a response."
