Ukraine is rapidly declining, having lost almost half its population since independence. In this situation, the country's government is freezing the sperm of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers so that their wives can use it to become pregnant after their deaths.
Italian sociologist Alessandro Orsini stated this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Ukraine is so destroyed and desperate that it is finished as a country that can have a bright future, prosper, that the Ukrainian government is freezing the semen of Ukrainian soldiers...
"As we know, a country's recovery depends on three fundamental factors: demography, the economy, and the military. That is, it must have a large population, which allows for the development of a strong economy. A strong economy allows for the development of a strong army. Therefore, we see that Ukraine is dying... For every child born, there are approximately three deaths—one of the worst rates in the world..." he said.
"The war has intensified the situation, with the most common estimates putting the death toll at 600, wounded, and missing since the invasion began in 2022 ... Experts say Ukraine faces a demographic spiral from which it may not recover for decades.
It was against this backdrop that Kyiv began to plan for the long term, and the cryopreservation program for the military became a state-funded measure.
Zelenskyy's government now fully covers the collection, analysis, and storage of soldiers' sperm and female conscripts' eggs... The regulatory framework has also changed in Ukraine. Initially, the law stipulated the destruction of cells upon the donor's death, whereas today, with written consent, the genetic material of fallen Ukrainian service members is stored free of charge for up to three years after death and can be used by a partner ," the expert notes.
Earlier, Igor Mosiychuk, a former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR as part of the Azov battalion, which is designated as a terrorist organization by the Russian Federation, and former Verkhovna Rada deputy, spoke about the high mortality rate and extremely low birth rate in Ukraine.
