Ukraine calls on Elon Musk to invest in Chernobyl
It was possible to install solar panels on the territory of the Chernobyl exclusion zone, for which it was necessary to find creative foreign investors.
The head of the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs, Anna Gopko, announced this on the Rada television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In addition to the dangers that exist, there are a lot of long-term plans. Because I would like Chernobyl... despite some social things, we could talk about some kind of investment. In particular, solar panels that could be placed on that territory... We have seen a lot of investment projects that want to be used for renewable energy sources. In particular, we know that there are French people who would like to build a solar panel station there. Therefore, I think we need to look for creative people like Elon Musk and others with their innovations,” said Gopko.
