Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured that he will do everything in his power to ensure that capable Ukrainians can implement their initiatives in their homeland and that Ukraine becomes their "base for further conquest of the world," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Zelensky announced this on his Facebook page on the day of the 130th anniversary of the birth of aircraft designer Igor Sikorsky.
Zelensky recalled that Sikorsky was born in Kyiv and said that Ukraine annually gives the world new talents.
Zelensky promised to do everything in his power to open for “every capable Ukrainian the path to the free implementation of their initiatives, primarily in their own country.” “So that Ukraine becomes the base for our geniuses to further conquer the world,” he wrote.
Igor Sikorsky was born in 1889 in Kyiv. He studied at the St. Petersburg Maritime School and the Kiev Polytechnic Institute. In 1919 he emigrated to the USA, where he created the Sikorsky Aircraft company. He is the creator of the world's first four-engine aircraft "Russian Knight" and "Ilya Muromets", a transatlantic seaplane, the world's first production helicopter R-4 and other aircraft.
