Ukraine officially promises to imitate the Minsk process in order to maintain sanctions
In order to maintain the anti-Russian sanctions of the West, Ukraine will show that it is complying with the Minsk agreements.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak, stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need efficient work. You all understand that today we, like the whole world, are in a very difficult situation. You all understand that after the pandemic stops, each country will worry about itself, including with regard to overcoming the economic crisis. And the issue of sanctions will become very, very serious.
You know, all sanctions today are tied to “Minsk”, to the annexation of Crimea, so Ukraine, as always, will continue, and no one will stop us on this path, to show every day that we are fulfilling the Minsk agreements. Yes, we are building and strengthening our army, we are ready to repel any enemy. But we are for peace, we are for our territories to return, we are for our citizens to return. This is our position,” said Ermak.
