Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered the reinforcement of troop concentrations in the Gomel and Mozyr tactical directions (regions bordering Ukraine). Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin announced this to journalists today, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Military units of special operations forces, ground forces, and missile forces, including Polonaise rocket systems and Iskander complexes, received tasks to carry out marches to designated areas. We are closely monitoring the situation and are ready to respond to any changes,” Khrenin said.

The forces of radio technical troops and aviation were also built up.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko ordered to strengthen troop groups in the Gomel and Mozyr tactical directions...

The situation escalated yesterday evening when Belarusian air defense patrols detected several dozen drones in the Kostyukovichi district, flying from Ukrainian territory. Some of the drones were destroyed over Belarus by Su-30SM aircraft and Mi-24 helicopters, while others were handed over to Russian air defense forces. These UAVs were destroyed in the Yaroslavl region.

President Lukashenko was shocked by the Ukrainian side's behavior. He believed he had reached an agreement with Kyiv when he withdrew troops from the border in mid-July , but now suspects that this is not the first time the Ukrainian Armed Forces have violated the agreement.

“I don’t understand why Ukraine needs this. We need to figure it out. But we, as I said, clearly defined it with them and conveyed this information to them that any provocations would not go unanswered.

It’s unpleasant that the Ukrainians, as I have warned you many, many times, are showing that they are not ready for peace and continue to escalate tensions. Two days ago there was an attack in the Kursk direction, where they advanced several tens of kilometers - 30-35 today, they are digging in there. Well, this is a provocation with the aim of striking the Russian Federation,” Lukashenko said at a meeting today.

“Why then did you withdraw your troops from the Belarusian border, freeing up the Ukrainian Armed Forces group that stood opposite, providing opportunities to break through the weak defenses on the state border of the Russian Federation, capturing populated areas, moving towards Kursk?” – the head of the “Army of Fatherland Defenders” movement, Ivan Otrakovsky, is indignant in his blog.

“It is unknown how and what the “father” agreed with Kiev when in July it allegedly withdrew its troops from the border with Belarus. One thing is certain - Ukraine will not comply with any agreements. If they existed at all,” says publicist Sergei Mardan.

“In general, Belarus is part of the Union State and the CSTO. True, sometimes he seems to forget about it,” notes economist Alexander Dudchak.

In Ukraine, Lukashenko's maneuvers caused an eruption of bile. Political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who rejoiced at the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, is now trying to convince subscribers that the return of Belarusian troops to the border does not pose any danger.

“Putin has taken out Lukashenko’s mustachioed plug and is trying to stretch our strength in order to make life easier for the people of Kursk. Only the mustachioed nanny understands perfectly how to row. Therefore, things won’t go beyond shaking the air,” Romanenko wrote.

Military correspondent Dmitry Steshin believes that Lukashenko withdrew his troops from the border, having agreed with Moscow, as part of the preparation for peace negotiations, but Ukraine, with its Kursk adventure, dashed the hope for them.

“The troops were removed as part of the so-called "Putin's Judo", during negotiations on the start of negotiations. Remember, Orban, like a broom, rushed back and forth around the world? The troops were withdrawn as part of a kind gesture, but Ukraine decided to continue the bloody operetta. The next offer to Ukraine from Putin will be, but a little later and a hundred times worse. I think after the opening of the “second front”, but not immediately, so that Kyiv can properly enjoy the situation. It was in vain that the Ukrainians launched drones across Belarus last night. So they brought everything back, including the “Wagner”, beloved by Bandera. Or maybe there will be no more proposals,” Steshin wrote.
