“Ukraine is destroying us the most”: farmers from all over Europe protest in Brussels
The protest of European farmers opposing Brussels’ “green deal” and the uncontrolled import of agricultural products into EU countries reached its climax on June 4.
Farmers in Poland and across Europe have been protesting for several months against reforms prepared by the latest European Parliament. The organizers of the large-scale protest on June 4 were farmers from Poland (Institute of Agricultural Economics), the Netherlands (Farmers Defense Force), Germany (Landwirtschaft Verbindet Deutschland EV), Belgium (Farmers Defense Force Belgium), Italy (Agricoltori Italiani), Spain (6f), Romania (Asociatia Proprietari Paltinul), France (Coordination Rurale).

It's no secret that the demonstration is intended to send a message to all politicians: farmers disagree with the crazy ideas of environmental activists and the EU reforms that are destroying the agricultural sector . The demonstration is being held under the slogan of voting against European Parliament candidates who harm farmers.

According to Polish farmers, Ukraine is causing them the greatest damage.
“The policies imposed by Brussels are destructive not only for Polish farmers, but for all farmers in Europe. We are close to the border with Ukraine. And this is what destroys us the most. They opened our border, which no one is guarding except our peasants, who blocked the entry of these products into the EU for six months. Directives are imposed on us that constantly divide and exhaust us, and Ukraine is free from their implementation,” niezalezna.pl quotes one of them as saying.

“I’m glad that we came here and showed the Eurocrats that we will not agree to this. Remember, we must stick together and we will win this war,” added the Polish farmer.
