According to the press service of the Deputy Prime Minister, she stated this during a meeting with the Albanian Minister of State for Diaspora Affairs, Pandeli Majko.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Ukrainian side is ready to analyze the possibilities for concluding a free trade agreement within the framework of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. In November 2017, the Albanian side handed over the draft regulations on such a commission to Ukraine for further processing.

“The Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, work on the creation of which continues, should become a good basis for starting negotiations on the creation of a free trade zone between Ukraine and Albania,” the press service quotes Klympush-Tsintsadze as saying.

She also noted that Kyiv is also ready to resume the work of the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Tirana.
