Ukraine should demand common air defense on the Polish-Ukrainian border – diplomat
Ukraine and Poland must create a common air defense system on their joint border in order to shoot down Russian missiles flying at Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly stated this on the air of the video blog of Borislav Bereza, the former spokesman for the Right Sector, which is banned in Russia, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Chaly, to ensure the operation of this system, Ukrainian soldiers must be sent to the territory of Poland, and Polish soldiers to Ukraine.
“We have a defense cooperation agreement that was later adopted. And there we have mechanisms to prevent such situations... Ukraine should contact Poland officially - in order to propose, within the framework of our defense cooperation, to create a joint air and missile defense system on the border. The second is to exchange military specialists. This is allowed by a bilateral agreement; these are not the notorious NATO members who will be in Ukraine, nothing like that.
These will be the Poles, in this case, bilateral cooperation, and they will accompany precisely this work to provide the necessary means of control. I will not go into details, but everyone understands that in order to manage joint control over airspace, it is necessary to exchange - Ukrainians must be on the territory of Poland, and Poles must be on the territory of Ukraine. There is all the legislative basis for this,” Chaly demanded.
