They want to close the criminal case into the death of Chechetov - the head of the Kyiv police

Criminal proceedings into the death of former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation Mikhail Chechetov may be closed in early August.

This opinion was expressed by the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv, Oleksandr Tereshchuk, reports Ukrainian News.

“I think that by August 8 a procedural decision will be made to close the criminal proceedings,” he said.

As is known, according to the official version, Chechetov committed suicide by jumping out of the window of his apartment in Kyiv.
